Counting the lines of code of all your applications

Counting the lines of code of all your applications

Do you want to know how many lines of code the Agile Platforms has saved you from writing and maintaining? It's easy, just follow these steps on your development server:

1 - Download http://cloc.sourceforge.net

2 - Open a command prompt and run:
         cloc-1.50.exe --exclude-dir=partial "C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Platform Server\share\"

this might take some time, but in the end you'll get something like this:
    8143 text files.
    6656 unique files.
    2968 files ignored.

Now imagine if you had to maintain all this in lower level languages...

So, have you been working hard lately?

Interesting, thanks,

looks like you have been working hard Tiago :)

It was helpful...thanks for the post.
All I can say is... "Wow!"
I'd love to show these stats to some decision makers for stuff I've developed in the Personal Edition.  Anyone have thoughts on how I could get that?
How about on the Cloud Platform?
