SEO Site Rules [Redirect Not Working After Migration to OS11]

Hi,

After upgrading from OS10 to OS11 [backup from one db and restore on another] and repointing my DNS the site rules are no longer working.

I get the following error:

Not Found

HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

I validated the setup on the new Windows server and it's installed properly. In the Event Viewer, I see the following:

Site rule id='87' not found, exclusive Path rule id='1094' discarded!

Has anyone experienced this or fixed it?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Christopher.

The error should be different, but the SEO rules also depend on having ISAPI Filter installed at IIS. Is it configured as before?

Hi Christopher,

I never came across that error before.

A couple of questions:

  • What happens if you create a new site rule? Does the request work using the newly created site rule?
  • Did you make sure to change the application pool of the Root Application (which is by default associated with the DefaultAppPool) to the OutSystemsApplications application pool in IIS?

Also, like Nuno said, make sure the ISAPI Filters are correctly installed following this documentation.

Remember to perform an IISRESET after changing configurations in IIS in order to apply them correctly.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Nordin
