[CKEditor.Reactive] CKEditor.Reactive Editor within Form container
Question
Forge component by Fábio Fantato Rodrigues

Hi,

When placing the CKEdittor within a Form parent container, some controls seem to be disabled.

If I move the container out of the Form parent, all controls are enabled.

Not sure if I have missed something here?

CKEditor.Reactive = Forge Version 1.0.5

OS = Version 11.8.0 (Build 12006)

Latest OS UI etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Mark

 Hi Mark,

I have the same issue, but apparently it works inside the Form as long as you remove the style:

"form card"

Still waiting on a better solution.

Hello,

It might be quite late for a response but i hope this answer can help people in the future.

What i found that works is simply adding the following css on the page youre using the ckeditor in.

.form span {
    position: static;
}

I hope this can be useful for someone in the future.

Didier,  You suggestion is working like a charm. I'm finding however that I can't get the data in the ckEditor fields of the form to save to the database.  Is anyone else seeing this?

Hi @Paul Davies ,

I'm not sure if I understood your question well but your problem is to get the content from ckeditor to save it in the database when you press, for example, the save button?

If so, just call the action "GetDataFromEditor" of the CKEditor Component.

See the example:

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks JR That was exactly the step I was missing.
