Show data when change combo box.

Hi everyone,

I have a problem, I want to show data (Amount) when change data in the combo box. I use Refresh Data to do that but it just shows only one data (don't change). Please help me!!!

This is my way.

 Hi Datist

You will have to refresh the container or table record where the amount is being rendered.

Hello Datist,

In Traditional Web when you use the Refresh Data widget, you should use to the Ajax Refresh widget on the part of the screen you want to change.

In this link you have a brief explanation how it works.

Hope it helps,

Hi Datist,

Hope you're doing well.

Like it was said before, you need to use Ajax Refresh widget, you can find it here:

Back to your screen action, you should use it to refresh the part of the screen (Widget or Web Block) that you want to refresh. Your action should be something like this:

Please make sure that you give a name to your Widget or Web Block (in the Widget Tree) so you can specify it on the Ajax Refresh:

Hi again Datist,

What do you mean by "changes data 1 time"?

It only changes for the first time that you select another size?

Hello again Datist,

You can use the property OnChange of the ComboBox to redirect into your screen action and in that way you will have the container refreshed.

Your expression that shows the Amount, is populated by the Aggregate?

Create a Local Variable where the DataType is ProductSizeIdentifier.

Then, in the ComboBox, use that Variable you create as Variable of the Combo.

In the filters of the Aggregate, assign the ProductSize.ID with that Local Variable.

In that way, when you choose a size and the OnChange runs, it will only show one amount for that size.

Hope it helps,

Best Regards,

Guilherme Oliveira

Hi Guilherme Oliveira,

I was filter data in this table so I can't use Local Variable to handle that.

I just upload my OML in the previous message with Rui Barradas.

Could you help me, Guilherme?

I'm a newbie so I need new things to learn.

Datist

I create several screens (Drag and Drop) because I can't see your Data to test.

In the OML below it worked, when you change the Combo appears the correct Amount, like you want.

Check it and let me know if it is ok.

Guilherme Oliveira
