Email with multiple attachments
Question

Hi all,

I want to send a list of attachments to an email (with each list item containing the binary, filename and filetype), however the email interface does not allow a list to be set as the input parameter.

My intention is that once that parameter is passed to the email, then i can use the Preparation action to iterate through the list and  "AttachFile" the attachments to my email.

Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks

Solution

Hi Robert,

You could store the files you want to attach to the email in a temporary entity. Then you just need to fetch and loop through that list of files inside the Preparation of your Email screen using a ForEach and the AttachFile widget in order to send the files as attachments with your email.

Hope this helps.

Thanks all,

Went down the temporary entity route. Worked a charm.

Thanks

You're welcome Rob :)

Don't forget to periodically clean up the temporary entity.
