Timer not run - Outystems 5.0

Timer not run - Outystems 5.0

Hello everybody,

We have a problem with the timers at 5.0 version.

After we have upgraded , from 4.0 to 5.0 version, all the timers already not run.

This issue happens, when we schedule the timers to run by service center, or when we call the timers to run, directly by the service center, clicking on the buttom "Run Now".

Anyone already have been this trouble??

Thanks in advance..

Best regards,
Luís Cardoso
Hi Luis,

Have you recompiled the eSpaces and do you have the OutSystems Scheduler Service running on the server?

Hi Luis,

You can also take a look into Service Center -> Monitoring -> Platform Monitoring to see if there is any detected issue or contact OutSystems Technical Support (support@outsystems.com) if you can't find what's the problem.

Hi all..

I have the same problem, but with the 5.1 version. You resolved it?
When I execute the timer on ServiceCenter, with "Run Now", on Platform Monitoring, the information is like attached image.
But, in fact, the timer isn't run because I have Audits and the General log is empty.

Can you help me, please?

Thanks in advance.
Hi,

Have you check error log (Service Center -> Monitoring -> Error Log http://localhost/ServiceCenter/Error_Logs.aspx) if there are error logged?

You can also check Timers Log (Service Center -> Monitoring -> Timers Log http://localhost/ServiceCenter/Cyclic_Job_Logs.aspx) for timers that were really executer.

Also, in the Platform Monitoring (Service Center -> Monitoring -> Platform Monitoring http://localhost/ServiceCenter/OnlineMonitoring.aspx) , in the Timers section you can see the list of timers to be executed. If a given timer is not running you'll get warnings. In the 'Front-end Servers' you can also check the status of the Scheduler service.
