SOAP Service is not passing parameter value
Question

Hi,
I'm testing some integration to pass a "file path value" to 3rd party web service. When I tested with .NET code, SOAP receiving the value. But when tested with OutSystem, it received null value.

Both file path formats has tested.

\\testfolder\abc.xml

\\\\testfolder\\abc.xml

Any idea to solve this issue in OutSystem?

Hi Raj,


I assuming that

When you are testing your code from .NET you are using the folder location in your machine. When you are doing it from outsystems you need to make sure you have that folder available in your server.

Hi Rama,

Thanks for the reply. The folder is the shared folder of other machine. Even from my machine or from out system server unable to access the folder. Webservice's method have the ability to access the shared path. So, I'm sending the folder path in both .NET code' SOAP call and also in OutSystem's SOAP call to that webservice.

Just to be sure:
You're consuming a SOAP-webservice, using OutSystems SOAP webreference, and you send an URL-path as a string to the 3th party webservice, but the value is received as empty string?

Are other parameters received correctly?
