Mobile - AnimatedLabel - animation not triggered when autofilled

iOS (and i presume Android) Allow the user to autofill username and password fields on the login screen. 

However when I do this the fields are populated but the animate label doesnt move for the filled field: 


I originally had an issue where the populated password was not recognised but implemented this fix: https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/52237/ios-auto-inputting-password/ which has allowed the password to be accepted. 

I would like the animated label Password field to move when autofilled and if possible have the email field focused when the login page is opened so the user is prompted by the keyboard immediately:

Solution

This is a bug in the javascript of the OutSystems UI AnimatedLabel implementation.


I believe that you can make a clone of the widget and fix the javascript yourself by adding the "active" class to the init-part when the input field is not empty.

I've not yet tested this myself, but when you try it out, please let me know your findings!
