How to put jar file in extension?

Hi there,

I create a Java Extension for Kafka Confluence. I put  kafka-clients-2.4.0.jar in the J2EE/lib and I call a poll method of consumer. When i publish and create in the Eclipse editor, there is no bug. But when i call the method of the kafka, i got this error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.kafka.clients.consumer.KafkaConsumer.poll(Ljava/time/Duration;)Lorg/apache/kafka/clients/consumer/ConsumerRecords;

How come when it is succeed to publish to Outsystem, there is still error when i run it? Where should i put the jar?

Thank you and best regards,

ibox

Solution

hi iBOX,

Put two, one in lib and other in another lib, use different names, its okay, The javac in Outsystems just know the jar in the lib, but the eclipse in another lib. May this helps.
