BLOB (Binary) file download fails over 95 mb
Question
Service Studio Version
10.0.1107.0

Hi All,

Issue Description : We have two different logic to upload and download file to the database (Using Oracle database) using binary entity method.

Upload action working as expected with 97 mb OSP file and validated the same with dbms_lob.getlength method from Oracle database.

While executing download logic, different size of files are downloaded everytime like 30 mb, 27 mb, etc..

We haven't used Binary size action to limit the file size. I don't know where it is going wrong..

Attached download logic below for reference.

In this case, we can upload and download the files without any issue with 93 mb files and with the same logic.

Thanks for any help here..

additionally, I want to understand, memory limit for BLOB (Binary) in OutSystems here..

Hi Aadhavan,

Can you take a look at this post?

It is about tweaking the configuration limits of file sizes and timeouts which should allow you to deal with larger binaries like in your situation.

Hi Aadhavan,

Have you checked your Service Center logs?

You probably will find there where is failing and more information on why it is failing.

Cheers,
João
