CSV extension has server actions. I need to convert it at client action without calling any server action because I want to make uploading of file faster. 

Regarding the discussion you mentioned:

I have gone through it, but the cv component is now deactivated from Forge. Hence, I cannot use it.

Any other suggestions for converting it at client action might help.

Hi Kilian,

I need it at client-side so that uploading of excel file will be faster. Currently, uploading of 700MB takes about 15 to 20 mins approx. To reduce uploading time I am compressing the file. Even after compressing, the excel file gets compressed about 10% of original size. If we try to compress CSV file the compression ratio is higher about 70% to 80%.  That's why I want to convert excel to csv at client side.

700 MB is an absolute ridiculous size for an Excel file. Also, Excel files are already compressed, and reading, converting an Excel to CSV in JavaScript, if at all possible, would also take a lot of time, probably more than the 15-20s you are complaining about now.

Thanks for creating Excel Translator component. It has solved my problem.

One suggestion for the component:

Is it possible to provide CSV content as an output parameter of Convert_ExportExcelToCSV client action. As currently it downloads the file directly. In case if we want to pass the converted csv to server, then this change can be useful.
