Hi,

I am new to Outsystem and I am facing the issue of not able to find the Attach File Web Logic. You may see from my screenshot.

How to show the Attach File Web Logic?

Thanks.

Solution

When I started with OutSystems I was also looking for this 'Web Logic Tool' and it was not easy to find it.

The documentation is not very useful (and I have already reported).

To make it clear to those who come to this post with the same doubt, this 'Attach File' is only displayed in the Preparation of an Email.

Yes, you are right. It took time for me to dig out where to locate the Attach File.

Hi

Yuri,

It's called the upload file widget. For more information see

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Developing_an_Application/Design_UI/Inputs/Enable_End_Users_to_Upload_Files

If it is missing in your toolbox, then you have to add the dependency to it from either OutsystemsUI or OutSystemsUIWeb.

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply. I think Upload File Widget is not something that I look for. But, is ok. I found it the Attach File that I am looking for.

Thanks for your help

I am curious what you found, I never heard about Attach File widget. Can you share more information? Maybe a screenshot?

Hi Daniel,

It is not a widget but a web logic. It is found at the Email Preparation.
