Removing a Module in Web App - How to Propagate the removal to other environments

Hi,

I needed to remove one of the modules of a web app (no one used it and had no up or down dependencies) and now I was trying to propagate the change to my other environments (test, pre and so on). But, when I create a plan for testing in LifeTime, the platform indicates that no changes where found, so the deployment fails.

Is there a specific way of doing this?

Solution

Hi Carlos,

Try following these steps:

Remove dependencies of unused module and publish your application.

Move the unused module to another new application or Independent Modules Application

And then try to deploy your code from Dev to QA.

If it still complains, you can download the application modules and manually import the modules in your higher environments from service center.
