API is not getting data in Timer

Hi All,

Currently I am creating timer to get data from external api interface in my web app, but the Timer doesn't get the data (e.g. 38 records) from the api when it is scheduled to run at 0700hrs. It only gets the data after some attempts of manually triggering the Timer, I dont get any clue on why it behaves like this as I didnt make any code that controls the Timer from running in my action.

hi Junior,

What did you select in the Schedule property of the Timer? When you select the time for it to run at 0700hrs, there are different options available like Schedule Daily or Weekly  or When Published etc 

May be select that according to when you want it to run and check

Hi,

You can check the timer log in Service Center that will tell you:

  1. If the timer did start at all
  2. If it started it might have end in error, in that case you can inspect the error details in the timer log
