[MongoDB] option to include blank attributes in JSON should exclude blank ids
Discussion

Hi all,

I used the Mongodb connector recently, one thing I noticed is that there is an option to include blank attributes or not.  For example, if you are creating or updating an item, if you set this to true, it will add an attribute entry with a blank string.  However, I found that it also seems to do this to id, if the id is missing, which is not the right behavior.   If id is blank, it should remain blank, as that's a signal to Mongo to accept a new entry and generate an id.   id is special.  I'd like to see if that could be changed or improved.  I had to string replace out 'id:  ""' as an operation  under the json formatter operation and that seems a bit sloppy.
