Changing the URL of Reactive Web App

Hi,

We have an OutSystems enterprise cloud license with a few apps. The URL of all web apps are by default displaying as

https://myenvironmentname.outsystemsenterprise.com/......

We have added DNS entry as apps.companyname.com. Our custom app URL is- apps.companyname.com/appname

When we hit this URL user is redirected to OKTA login page of our app. After successful login again application is

redirected to user home page and URL displayed on browser is -

https://myenvironmentname.outsystemsenterprise.com/......

We have Reactive Web App. How to display custom URL for all web pages in app?

Best Regards,

Nitin

Solution

Hi Nitin,

It is not possible yet to define SEO Friendly URLs for Reactive Web Apps.

There is a workaround you can use until OutSystems releases this feature for Reactive Web Apps.

Nordin

With the most recent version of Service Studio SEO friendly URLs are supported in Reactive Web applications.

Hi Daniel,

I am trying to implement a similar sort of solution for my reactive web application where i need to change the custom enterprise.com url to myapp.com

Could you please assist me in moving in the correct direction

Hi,

First of all you are opening an old thread, with already a solution marked. Then ask something different.

It is better to create a new post, for this, so solution can be marked when provided.

What you do is not possible, if you want to change the domain name please read this official OutSystems document:

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Setup_and_maintain_your_OutSystems_infrastructure/Setting_Up_OutSystems/Use_your_SSL_domain_in_OutSystems_Cloud

Daniel
