Change default validation message

Hi,

I have a login screen and when the user logins without entering an email and password the flow goes to the login action  and in the server action User_Login the flows goes to the AllExceptions handler and is  displayd an invalid default message "Invalid username or password." Do you know how to change this default message? Thanks!

Hi Jake,

you can change directly in the ExceptionFeedbackMessage action

Or create another Exception for InvalidLogin:

Thanks, but if you want to have 2 separated messages, one from email like "Emai is mandatory." and other from password like "Password is mandatory"?

On UI you set the inputs to Mandatory, which by default are set to false.

It will show a message when you try to login with empty values.

If you want to change the message must do it in the Login screen action, assigning the message you want to the UserNameInput.ValidationMessage and PasswordInput.ValidationMessage

Hi Jake,

You can change the text here:

Hello @Jake B.

Change the feedback message inside the login action. Check the image below.

Hi Jake,

The message you are referring here comes from default Users application which is referenced default to all the new applications.  So, I would recommend here to change the message in your own created application instead of making changes into the Users application.

Thanks & Kind Regards,

Sachin
