Suggested way to connect to SAP Hana database
Application Type
Reactive
Service Studio Version
11.11.0 (Build 42331)

At this time we are connecting to an external SQL database just for reading data. This works fine but this database will soon be migrated to a SAP HANA IN MEMORY DATABASE.

The database is not part of S4HANA, it is just a stand alone database.

Does anyone have any experience on that? The connector does not exist.  How could we do this without writing the connector by ourself?

Best regards

Frederik

Hi,

I have no experience with this, but you could consider to use the SAP HANA rest api

Hi Frederik

We have integrated the SAP with OutSystems for one of the Client. OutSystems has connector to SAP in Enterprise License. We can do it with the SAP BAPIs or SAP OData services.

You can get the relevant information here: https://www.outsystems.com/evaluation-guide/integrate-outsystems-applications-with-sap/

https://www.outsystems.com/enterprise-for-sap/

If you want it could be done via Excel as well. The Excel could be exported from SAP to FTP and OutSystems can read data from there.

We had done in the both ways for out clients.
