Cannot search in Style Sheet Editor

Hi guys,

I can't manage to search for classnames in Style Sheet Editor. Ctrl+F doesn't work and I couldn't find any menu/button for this, but Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C both work. As a result I often end up copy-pasting everything to an external editor...

I guess there must be a way to do it. How do you do it?

Thank you

Hi Maxime,

Has an idea released that is on the OutSystems Radar:

https://www.outsystems.com/ideas/3574/search-function-in-the-style-sheet-editor/

I believe it will soon have this feature.

Today, the possible paths: search through the Service Studio general search (top right) or you copy all the CSS and search through a text editor.

Hi @Maxime Baracco,

Here's how.

Say for e.g. you want to search the BaseTheme for 'TableRecords_Header', then

1. open the CSS and click on the 'BaseTheme' tab to keep it in focus.

2. Ctrl-F / Search for 'TableRecords_Header', you will now see 'Search in Style Sheet' option. Select it.

3. You will be able to see all the search results as shown below

So the trick is to keep the focus on the tab you would like to search.

Tthe search feature can definitely be improved but I hope the above tip helps avoid having to copy paste into a search editor etc.

Regards,

AJ
