We are  getting this error when logging in to our app Can't find variable: rootName
Application Type

Service Studio Version
11.11.14 (Build 48084)

We are  getting this error when logging in to our app Can't find variable: rootName.  We have updated our InAppBrowser to the current version but we still are seeing this error. If anyone has any advice that would be amazing. Even though we are getting the drop down error we are still able to log in. We just don't want our users having to see an error every time they go to log in.

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon,

It indeed seems like an error occurring in a Cordova plugin. Do you see any details in the Service Center error logs, or in your developer tools console?

Although it's almost never a good idea to suppress error messages, if you really want to hide such an error message, you can catch this specific exception in Common -> OnException and hide it. These UI error messages are created there.

Thank you for your  reply, here is the error detail from the error log.

Hi Jon,
At very first before we deep dive into logs;
Make sure you had generated a new build for mobile apps & testing the same.

  • Uninstall Old Build
  • Generate new build
  • Install the new one

Let us know :)
