[Location Plugin] Location Plugin Not Working on IOS Devices
Forge component by OutSystems R&D
Application Type
Mobile

After performing general component updates, including updating our location plugin version to the latest dated version on our mobile applications, we noticed our IOS distributed Apps no longer receive a location from this plugin. The device still requests access to the location plugin which leads me to believe it's not a security issue? Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

We are also facing an issue after upgrading Location Plugin to 5.1.4  (from 5.1.3) with MABS 7.1 on iOS.
Getting the position will fail, here is the message in logs:

Cannot assign a JavaScript string with value AA,BBBBBBBBBBBBBBB to an output parameter of type Decimal Check the JavaScript node 'GetLocationJS' of the action 'GetLocation'.

Hello,

There was just released a new version of Location plugin that should fix this issue.
On Forge it is labeled as Version 5.1.5 (Under development).

Best regards

Version 5.1.5 is fixing our issue, thank you!

Hi,
Just to acknowledge !!

Version 5.1.5 still has the same issue with iOS.
Version 5.1.6 is the one we tested successfully on both Android & iOS.

Thanks

yes, even we are facing this issue with the latest(5.1.5) available version on iOS Devices.

When we can expect the 5.1.6 version, any idea?

Thanks,

Hello,

Version 5.1.6 is already available at forge as "under development".

We should pass it to stable in a couple of days.

Thanks!
