Timer  executions errors
Application Type
Mobile, Reactive

Hi we are using a timer. And suddenly it is stopped working getting below error .

We have gone through multiple links suggested but nothing help us.

Can someone please help to resolve this issue or let us know the possible root cause for this issues.

Hi Dilip,

Few tips:

1. check service center for environment health and make sure scheduler service is running.

2. Try to debug the logic of your timer and see where error is occurring.

Hope this helps.

Hi Manish,

We have checked the environment health. Everything is up and running.

Suddenly we have started getting below error in one of our timer.

Once we are putting debugger to debug , we are not getting any error from the timer. It's working fine.

Also same timer is working on Dev environment but in QA it's stopped working suddenly since today morning.

Hi Dileep,

Check once how much time is taking in the query you are executing with the timer.

its 282ms, this problem is happening only one environment.

The same discussion is going on in the above link as your issue, you should check it once, maybe you can get some help.

We have gone through but nothing help. We checked event log we are getting below

A process serving application pool 'OutSystemsApplications' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service

It would be better if you ping your administrator to check the IIS configuration.

Hello Dileep,

Based on the error you are facing, it looks like there is some issue with in your network. It might be the case that this is happening randomly when there is something wrong with connectivity between your servers. So, it would be better to check with your network team to make sure there is nothing new installed/configured on the servers which is stopping the network connectivity. Since, sometimes Antivirus or firewall changes cause this issue.

Thanks & Kind Regards,
