In case weak of internet connection. You can Increase the short operations timeout and try. 

Edit->preferences-> In Environment connection section , you can increase the timeout seconds.  > Click at apply button.

This could also be due to the fact that your personal environment fell asleep or is even deleted.

I also got this error once when my environment had exceeded size limitations and after cleaning my log was generating error.

Please check:

Can you access your personal environment in service center? 

Can you see if your environemnt is asleep?
