how to pass List to dropdown inside a web block

I have a block with one DropDown. In my application, am using this block wherever need DropDown. May I know, how to pass the List of values to that block. So, i can display on the dropdown to select values.

Hello ponnuraj subramanian,

I wouldn't recommend doing this because a DropDown requires a variable of the same type of elements on that list ad unfortunately that can't be done in a dynamic way.

You can however create a Webblock for each different type of entity you need and use that web block when ver you need that dropbox.

Thank you for your reply.

For my application, am getting the control type from Database or from an API Response. That will give the control type, based on that type am creating the form. So I need to pass that list dynamically. Is there any other option to achieve this?
