Hiding username uploading to Forge
Question

When uploading a project to the Forge, is there any way to change my username within the project?

My username is my email address which I'd like to keep private if possible.

Solution

I said I think so. I am not sure. But yeah, I tried and nothing happens as you said, it needs to be an IT User.

I have read a post where it says is not possible to change your personal environment username.

https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/41227/how-can-i-change-my-personal-environment-name/

And you can follow this instruction where you can move your applications to another account where it will not be your email if you choose to do so.

You can go to the users, and you can change the Username, I think so.

https://<your environmentURL>/Users/

Then you just need to edit the User that you use in the Service Studio.

You will see this interface, and you just need to click on a User to edit

Are you sure this works? These screen shots are for end-users, not IT-users

Hi Daniël and Márcio,

Thanks for the confirmation.

I have the project on both my personal and work environments, but I do not have the rights to change my username where I work as well. Oh well, that's unfortunate.

EDIT: Submitted an idea as suggested by Márcio: Idea - Allow changing username for assets uploaded to Forge | OutSystems
