Hello, fellow community members!

Amazing times that we living at the Integration Builder team with full of great and exciting news. After launching external databases integrations and the newest PostgreSQL connector, we’re thrilled to announce one new connector in Integration Builder - MongoDB.

With the latest Integration Builder release, you can take advantage of Integration Builder's great user experience and integrate with your MongoDB databases.

Then new MongoDB connector is exclusively available in Integration Builder.

What you should know before you start

MongoDB connector is now released as Technical Preview in Integration Builder, and GA should occur later on. The capability is available on any environment that has Platform Server version 11.7.2 or later.  This Platform Server version was released in January 2020, and there is no need to upgrade your Platform Server to the latest versions.

As usual, you can use your Personal Environment to try out the Integration builder without any extra cost. There are no additional costs when using Integration Builder in any OutSystems Edition.

Great!!!

You can learn all about this Integration Builder MongoDB integration here - doesn't work.

Hi Yulia.

Thank you for reporting this issue. It's solved now.
There were some deep changes in our documentation and the team is now working to stabilize the solution.

Cheers,
Ricardo

Thank you. Every action requires ConnectionString, why do we need to provide it if we are already connected? Is it stored somewhere?

Hello again Yulia.

MongoDB integrations created in Integration Builder do not require the connection string in every Server Action.
I believe you're probably using the actions in the "_DRV" module. But you can use the Server Actions available in the "_IS" module instead. You won't need to pass the connection string for these actions in "_IS".

Take a look at this documentation page, here you can learn what modules IB generates and how to use a MongoDB integration.

Hello there, dear community.

A new update on the Integration Builder MongoDB connector.

MongoDB integrations just got easier with the new version of the MongoDB connector. Now, collections can be represented in structure format, meaning Integration Builder inspects the collection schema and generates Structures. You can still choose to use the JSON output format.
