In the past few months, we’ve been working to replace the CMS that hosted our public documentation. We’ve now reached the time to roll it out, so that you can use it.

Today marks the Go-Live of our new Docs. A fully OutSystems based solution, that represents a huge milestone for us and you. As of today we have all our digital assets, Product Documentation, Support Documentation, and Online Training, in a single technology platform, ours.

Why are we doing this?

• To improve the performance of our documentation.
  You’ll now have access to Documentation pages that load approximately 5x times faster than our previous Documentation page.

• To build for the future.
  By having full independence from 3rd party vendors, we are able to grow the solution to best respond to your needs creating a richer experience for you.

• To consolidate our technology stack in our platform.
  This way we have internal know-how to maintain and grow the digital solution.

What’s included in the Go Live?

• All content pages that currently exists in https://success.outsystems.com/documentation and  https://success.outsystems.com/support are available in the same address, but with a new infrastructure.

• Reorganized Information Architecture, that will improve your navigation experience.

• Minimal to no changes to the current experience.

• SEO and Performance improvements.

• Japanese content is also available in the new Docs.

What’s still missing?

• Feedback/rating mechanisms on pages.

• Capacity for you to propose changes to the content.

• Other minor experience corrections that are being identified.

  
  

Going live today it’s not the end of this project, it’s the beginning. So, you’ll see new features being added in the next few weeks in a progressive roll-out approach.
