6.6 Data Queries and Widgets II - Help Needed

Hi,

When trying to upload Harrison Ford as an actor to several movies, I cam across this issue on my second upload. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Solution

Can you also share your core module to check? That way, I will be able to see why is giving you that error.

I think you are missing to pass the MoveId, to the variable. You right now are not passing the move id, just the person and the role id.

So, I think you forgot to do this.

It would be good to have an OML, can you share it?

Also, check if you are passing the IDs, you can be putting or creating something and are trying to save always with the same id.

There are quite a few posts on the forums about problems with this exercise.

Check the OML that I share in this post

The post below is more related to your problem

There you go!

OSMDb_KJ.oml

Check if you are passing this values.

Then you need to assign those values to the PersonMovieRole variable of data type PersonMovieRole

To pass on the create action.

Sorry, I don't think I have a lot of those server actions at the moment? I'm on page 14 of the tutorial, so "AddPersonToMovie" isn't an action I have, much less can check the values that have been passed on.

This is what my Save looks like:
