You can put an input parameter for the email with a binary data type

And call the widget image and put in the image content the image input variable of binary data type.

If you want from the database you just need to do as above

If you want to add an image from your local images. You just need to select on the image widget the type local image and select one of your local images.

If you are using inbuilt outsyste template then you can simply add image control and assign image or css to it

Or If you are using any API then you can set image tag in email body html.
