Deploy error

Hey I'm new to AP, I'm using the Campaigns app as a base for learning and customization.  I was just trying to publish a simple change and rec'd the following error:

Error message from node primary (127.0.0.1): Deployment failed

Deployment failed. Could not invoke ping. Exception: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
   at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
at OutSystems.HubEdition.DeployService.Deploy.#JSb(String hostname, String espaceName, String ptaOrTenantName, String pingFile)

CompModule : Broadcast Message

Here's the environment:

- My server where the app is running is remote, running in my own cloud VM (using Community Edition)
- I'm using Service Studio locally on my development workstation
- The error message indicates it's trying to ping localhost which doesn't make sense to me and of course it fails as my local setup won't allow ping, etc.

Any ideas?  Thanks!

Chris
I get one of those from time to time. Still haven't find out why... usually I keep trying publishing until the error no longer ocurs.
It's still happening for me and preventing me from making progress.  So far this eval is only going so so...  If I can't publish a simple change, makes think more complex work with AP will be even more troublesome.  Any input is welcome as I'd like to get past this and actually get a live site up and running on AP before I make a make a final judgement.

Thanks
Hi Chris and João,

The error is happening on the server machine, so the IP is actually correct.

Did you change any settings in the machine IIS? Like for example forcing the webserver to force https?
One of the platform current requirements is to allow http connections on localhost requests.

Try to login on the machine remotly and on a browser access http://127.0.0.1/ServiceCenter/ and http://127.0.0.1/YourESpaceName/_ping.html
Both pages should be displayed without any errors.

Also this problem (with a 403 forbidden) should not intermittent. So I guess João problem should be a bit different.

If the problem continues I sugest you both to contant the Outsystems Support, for a proper troubleshooting.

Regards,
João Rosado
Hi João.

I'm having the same problem.

You said: "One of the platform current requirements is to allow http connections on localhost requests. "

Is there any technical document with this information that I can send to the IT department of my client? Or a link to a FAQ\Help Guide?

Thanks

Does anyone know what causes this problem ?

Deployment failed. Could not invoke ping. Exception: Connection to https://127.0.0.1 refused at outsystems.hubedition.http.HttpWebRequest.getResponse(Unknown Source)

Why OutSystems tries to access the https port ?
