This should be straightforward but I can't find the answer anywhere.

I have a list of categories. 

Selecting a category goes to a list of its members. 

When adding a new member, I want the category to be automatically assigned equal to the category for the members in the screen 

How do I set the category dropdown in the New Task screen to equal the category from the previous screen?

  1. Create an input parameter of Category Identifier data type on the list members screen
  2. On the onclick (when you click on the category to go to the list of members) pass the category identifier that you clicked on to go to the list of members. 
  3. Repeat the step n1 to the add members screen, and you will have your category identifier, 
  4. Then you assign the category variable that is feeding the dropdown the category identifier that is being passed through input parameters in case is <> NullIndentifer().
