How to add Excel template in resource folder and use it in the template download .

I have tried but seems not working , instead of showing content it shows URL.

No Nandini, You need to create one server action to get the file from resource folder. Then in client action use download widget to download the file.

Its very simple and straight forward. Just right click on resource folder and click on "Import Resource" option. It will open select dialog select the excel file and it will be imported in resource folder.

After then when you want to download same from resources folder you just need to select this file for download.
