Translate Site Property

Hello,

How can I translate a Site Property of type text?

It doesn't appear in the Multilingual Locales.

Thanks

Hi @Nuno Pardal,

What is your use case? Even if you do custom logic to translate the SP, you can change its value at run time and the translations would be outdated...

@Shoeb Khan the Multilingual Component is deprecated, this post is for web traditional :)

Rúben

Hi @Ruben Meireles,

It's to use as a Feedback Message when the user session expires.

Regards

I'm not sure why would you need a site property?  Maybe I'm missing something... but you can directly translate feedback messages :)

Solution

In the end I change the implementation.

The use of a site property in this context it's not the best approach.

In my defense, I'm working with code made by other person :D

I agree with you, we should keep things as simple as possible :D
Glad I could help, that's is why we are here ;)

Hi Nuno,

you can apply transaltion by using the getTransaltion action by passing the string you can also pass the site property values.

you can find the action in forget component provided by Outsystems
