Latest Window Server version that LifeTime supports

OutSystems 11

Hi everyone,

I'm using the CheckList tool of Outsystems.

- For OutSystems Platform Server, The lastest Windows Server is 2022.


- For LifeTime, The lastest Windows Server is 2019.


I'm wondering that is it ok if I install LifeTime on Windows Server 2022 ?

Hi Kiet,

I got word from OutSystems that it was an oversight in the documentation, and the LifeTime checklist should now contain the proper versions.

Hi Kiet,

Based on my experience, I found no difference between Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022 with running programs, If it runs on 2029 it will run on 2022. 

But I don't now how the OutSystems Support works when running OutSystems on a Server version that is not in the list they specify, Maybe you can contact them about the support for Windows Server 2022. I could be that the list is outdated.

To add more information to this post,

I was checking the release notes of LifeTime, And I found the following text in the 10.17.2 version.

  • This version includes Platform Server 11.21.0, which is compatible with Windows Server 2022. The installation checklist you'll find in the installer package is missing Windows Server 2022 in the Operating System dropdown options. You may still install LifeTime 11.17.2 on Windows Server 2022. Please make sure you download the checklist from our website to have Windows Server 2022 in the Operating System dropdown options.
