Running a little behind the technology.
At this moment OS is using 1.4.2 even in v7
Any plans on upgrade to 1.7.x ?
Would be so nice :-)
Or do we need to incorporate the latest version ourself

Hi Joop, if you really need to use functionality from
JQuery 1.7
that is not yet present in
JQuery 1.4.2
, you can always include it in your application (putting the
JQuery 1.7
javascript files as resources to your application and including them in your pages using the
AddJavascriptTag
action in the
HttpRequestHandler
extension). By using this
IncludeScript
action with each of the files you want to include in the preparation of your screen (or alternatively, in the preparation of any web block in your screen), you guarantee that those javascript files are included in your web page.
Kind Regards,
Daniel Lourenço

I agree. Latest Jquery also include not only bugfixes and new features but also some performance improvements.
