Hello All,


I have a question regarding the Service Center for the second FE server.


In case that;

  • I currently have a DC+FE server in my environment.
  • Add a second FE server in this environment. (farm structure)

In this case, is it possible to login to the second FE Service Center (http://<IP address of second FE>/ServiceCenter)? Or, do I need to use the first FE (with DC) Service Center for the second FE?

Solution

Both servers will have service center installed and running, so you could use either one of them. Especially since they will point to the same data, so there's really no difference between using one or the other.
