Google: log-in programmatically having an account's credentials

Hello,

I need to implement such a scenario:

  • I have credentials of a given Google account
  • I need to programmatically (back-end) log-in on behalf of this account (in my case I need to update entries in the Google calendar)

What components should I use, what steps to perform?

Hello,

Thanks for the tip but my question concerns "how to log in as a given account", not "how to manipulate calendar entry". "Google Calendar" components assume that you are already logged-in.

Did you look at the components? Don't they gave the authentication to the Google API defined?
