Hello, I am trying to implement push notifications in my app, and I am having problems using the Deprecated Firebase Mobile plugin, I think I did all the right steps, as I had successfully implemented this function in the past. 

Is the component still working? 

If not, how can I implement the same functionalities with the new Cloud Messaging (Firebase) and Cloud Messaging configurator? I already tried it but I couldn't go past the third step in the documentation regarding to adding the new DB row with the API key and App Id, I could not add a new record there.
