I want to call https based mutual certificate API , how to provide selfsign certific

Question

we have requirement to use mutual certificate authentication in one of the webservice so we need to provide first self signed certificate to consumer so that they will also sign provide the same to import

what are the steps to follow , since i was creating separate independent micro service in different application to connect https then calling that service with http which is slow and creating issue for us .
