Platform Version

Hi,

I have two different environments. I need to merge the modules from one environment to another like I have Environment A and Environment B. Now, I have to merge the modules of Environment B into Environment A.

can anyone please suggest to me a way to achieve this?

Thanks and Regards

Solution

Hi Vednarayan,

follow these steps-

1. upload your dowloaded application here.

2. after uploading you will recieve the file in the entered email.

3. for activation code log in to your environment's service center

4. download it from the mail and just open it to the new environment.

5. as per my knowledge, as of now that s the only way to upload one environment to another.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Prince

IPP is only relevant for modules from different infrastructures, not from different environments of the same infrastructure.

There's no automatic way of doing this. You can open a module in Environment B, save to the disk. Then open the module in Environment A and do a "Compare and Merge with Another Version or File" and "Choose File". Then choose the saved module from Environment B and use the Merge tool that will automatically popup.

Hi Vednarayan ,

Another way is:

  • open Module on environment B
  • on Service Studio go to Menu\Module  Switch environment  and choose A and credentials

  • Once on environment  choose A ,

Check differences and choose which change to merge

Hope  that it helps you
