Interesting to see that, although answers are across the board in most categories, most countries agree on the last question.
Actually, I see a divide on the last question. The more established, so-called "1st world" countries (the english speakers and to a lesser extent the South Koreans) believe that the "helpfulness" of always being reachable is way less, well, helpful than more emerging markets.

Judging by the more *ahem* cheerful uses Brazilians etc make of their devices :), it is easy to see that culturally the mobile phones are a lot more associated with work (and the boss calling you at ungodly hours?) in certain places than others. I believe that in these historically more affluent countries, that have had access to technology for many more years, the lure of having a gadget that "does all these cool things" has clearly subsided a lot and they have a more pragmatic view of the whole thing.
