Executing SQL Server Stored Procedures in Outsystems

Hello,

I am getting the below error while trying to access the SQL Server Stored Procedure in outsystems using Advanced SQL Query. Pls let me know what can be done to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Ravi,

It seems like the user that is used by the platform to access the database does not have permissions to access [SLHUB].[dbo].[usp_GetRoles]. You need to check what user is used by the platform and go to your DBMS and set right permissions to that user.

Cheers,
José
Hi Ravi,

Try to execute stored procedure in SQLserver. If is ok, the problem is permission, see post José Ramalho.

EXEC    @return_value = [SLHUB].[dbo].[usp_GetRoles]
             @Client_id  = '1'

SELECT  'Return Value' = @return_value

Take a look to this post:

 Hi GM,
I did not understand this step 2 in that post :
"Login to (local)\OUTSYSTEMS using Windows Authentication"

. I am logging into outsystems server from a remote machine. Is it possible for me to view that directory structure ?

Also how do I know, Outsystems is using which user to connect to SQL Server ?

Thanks & Regards
Ravi

Hello Ravi,

That correspond to the database catalog.
You can use SQL Server Management Studio to get into there.
The configurations that you are talking, can be parameterized in the "Configuration Tools" that you can see installed with the Agile Platform.

Kind regards,
