Most likey, they wouldn't ... it could work for Java stack only.

Oh yes, love to see Service Studio on more OS'es.

The only reason I'm stuck to Micosoft is Service Studio :)

Would be nice to be able to develop for OS X, even if it only generates Java.

Mono is not an option as it doesn't support WPF (and doesn't plans to: https://www.mono-project.com/Compatibility)

Not currently (I think it might have something to do with Windows Presentation Foundation).

Now we have visual studio for mac OS. Why still Service Studio and Integration Studio version not available for MAC OS X operating systems.

Hi Team,

I am working on outsystems for a long time and I found that OS installation is very simple for anyone(specially freshers) who want to start with OS in their personal laptop but at same time I also find many developers who are finding difficulty because they are working on Apple products like macbook they want to install & learn outsystems so they can also start with development in outsystems.

My suggestion or idea is that we can also provide anything for apple users so they can also install or start working with OS in Macbook.

I downloaded the latest version of outsystems service studio but the platform version is still 10 and when I try to connect I get an error saying version mismatch

It's true, we are currently working on the Technical Preview for OutSystems 11 and we still don't have plans to deliver this in OutSystems 10.

why we do not version suport Mac OS X 10.7 ?

Hi Vannak,

OS X 10.7 was released in 2011 and received its last update in 2012, more than 6 years ago and its support ended in 2015. Since this is a very old operating system we are not able to support that, sorry for that.

LS,

version 11.7.4 launches under Big Sur ( 10.16.1 / 11.0.1 ), waits a couple of seconds and then quits/crashes. 

Ah, I see copyright CodeWeavers in the application info. That explains a bit.

Hi.

As stated in the documentation, the mentioned version is only compatible with macOS Catalina. So, if you're using macOS Big Sur, please use one of the other options listed in OutSystems Service Studio for Mac page, namely a virtual machine running Windows and use the latest supported version of the Service Studio development environment for Windows.
