Reconsider the re-design of the input and output parameter icons

OutSystems did an awesome job with redesigning the icon system which is used in the Hybrid version of Service Studio.

However I think some icon designs got worse, mostly noted the input and output parameter icons:

In the old design the arrow in and out are very clear

Yeah, if you don't have a 20/20 eyesight, those miniscule subscript grey-on-grey arrows are virtually impossible to tell apart. Accessibility is important.

I totally support this idea. Clearer contrast and the right combination of colors are a nice way to be inclusive with people with sight deficiencies (like me), too.

Hi Daniël,

Thank you for taking the time to illustrate this problem. We do see room for improvement as well, so we started working on new icons. We expect them to be available until the end of the year. I’ll post an update once it’s done!

I Completely Supporting this idea .. And it's necessary to redesign this kind of icon designs hence these Input/Output Parameters were playing very important roles so the design and viewing of these icons should be more clear..

Its  a good thing ,sometimes  the new version might be uncomfortable, Moreover it will confuses some users including me.

I agree with Miguel Seabra Melo. I also don't have a 20/20 vision so I prefer the current icons above the ones proposed. I also think that many videos and especially the last OutSystems Event could use way better resolution. It was even with a 1 GB link on a 55" TV screen often not good to see because the 1080p(HD) isn't enough. OutSystems should post in at least 4K if they use this tiny font.

Hi! I'm happy to share that we redesigned the input parameter and output parameter and some other icons that use the arrow representation, to improve the readability. Please check them in the latest version of Service Studio MAC or in Service Studio 11 - Beta if you're using Windows.
