Update Platform Server Installation Checklist - User Rights Assignment (Create symbolic links)

Platform Server 11.17.0 (Build 36781)

Hi,

While installing Outsystems Platform Server on premises, the user in session on the server needs to be part of the "Create symbolic links" User Rights Assignment.

If this is not the case, the installation procedure will complete "successfully", but the installation is not completed successfully. This issue was already reported to Outsystems Support a few weeks ago.

Also, if the user is part of Local Policies > User Rights Assignment > Create symbolic links, make sure there is no Domain Security Policy that overlaps the Local Policy. If this happens, the assignment needs to be done at the Domain level.

Please update the Platform Server Installation Checklist, on section "Installation Checklist > Outsystems Platform Server", right before step 2.
