Consume additional web services types

Integration
Not right now

Intergration with many systems requires the ability to consume additional types.

There's longer list but here are some of the types I'd like to able to consume from inside Service Studio.

Web Services with recursive data types (structures that contain themselves);

Web Services with structured types not created with either "element", "simpleType", "complexType" or "attribute" XSD constructs;

Types of "element" type with sub-type of "schema" type (i.e. dynamic schemas) are interpreted as a simple Text item;

Types of "simpleType" and sub-type that is not "restriction" (such as "list", a space-separated sequence of text atoms) are interpreted as a simple Text item;

Types of "complexType" and sub-type that is not "sequence", "all" or "complexContent" are interpreted as a simple Text item;

Sub-types of "complexContent" and sub-sub-type that is not "restriction" or "extension" are interpreted as a simple Text item.

Hi Richard,

Sorry for the late reply, but we are not planning on delivering this in the near future.

The investment to do this properly is too big for the return and for the upcoming new features that we have in mind. Because of this, I’m marking this idea as “not right now”.

Nonetheless, thank you very much for your idea and keep it coming.

If you believe we missed some context that would change our perception about it, please give us more details about why you would need this and for what is the use case.

Notes: we will work and deliver the recursive data types for an OutSystems 11 release.

Thanks!
