Create a "1-Click Publish" queue in Service Studio to publish multiple modules in sequence

When you're making changes in a module that sits low in the architecture canvas, you need to  manually republish many modules up the layers before you're able to test your changes.

It would greatly reduce the pain involved if we could create something like a "1-Click Publish queue" in Service Studio and add modules to it. Then, with 1 click, SS would publish the modules in the queue in the order they were added.

Suggestion: select the modules in SS with Ctrl+Click, right click, then "Add to new queue".

Great idea and maybe thinking out loud; change the order in the queue?

That sounds great!!

this would avoid opening several windows with the respective modules and would save time.

Aurelio,

We already have the option to download all consumers and refresh all consumers but for that we must have all modules opened in SS with high memory consumption. What you mean is to have this tasks to be done in server not locally, right?

The idea is to have an easy and quick way to 1-click publish multiple modules right from Service Studio, so you can quickly test your changes without having to first manually republish all required modules.

So not republish all consumers, but only the modules you manually add to this "queue".

Merged this idea with 'Publish all open modules in sequence' (created on 16 Jun 2023 14:57:16 by Bruno Gonçalves)

Often times I need to publish 3 or 4 modules in sequence in Service Studio.

It would be awesome if we could have a button to do that without having to manually wait for one module to finish and then move onto the next.

I placed the button at the end of the tabs but the placement isn't relevant (if done properly ofc).
