Idea:
Forge: The dialog for "Join the team" to allow for a(n optional) custom comment/description/reason text box to describe why one would like to join the team. Hopefully, should be quite quick to be implemented.
Reasoning:
I personally needed the feature many times on both ends of a spectrum (asking for and approving a team member), I believe other contributors will find it quite useful, as well.

On the 18th of January of this year, we did a new release of Forge which makes it mandatory for users to justify why they want to join an asset's team. More info here.
