Disable exposed REST and SOAP Method in Service Studio

Service Center

Hi,

I believe that can be a good improvement to have the possibility to disable an REST/SOAP method from our exposed APIs.

With that we can maintain versions with methods under work without the need to have different versions and, I believe it's more practical :)  (like the "disable" capacity in the action flows).

The idea is to have them under the API but not available to use and not present in the generated documentation.

Best regards,

Ricardo Pereira

Good idea! Sometimes we need a service to be unavailable for a short time, during some maintenance, and having the option to temporarily disable it, without the need to delete it would be great.

Great Idea, Instead of having this only on service studio, it could be great to have it on service center, allowing to enable/disable a specific service whether it is consume or expose.

Changed the category to
Service Center

Hello Ricardo,

I do agree this would allow for more flexibility and would be handy. I'm changing the category to "Service Center" as I think it makes even more sense to manage these settings there, without the need to have a developer publish the module/solution to disable, and eventually publish it again to enable the disabled method(s).

Cheers.
