Add shortcut/ability to be able to move a node down or up the logic flow

Like one can move a single statement down in the Assign node, it would be very helpful to add the ability to move a node up or down in the logic flow.

E.g. if I have an Assign node and then an Aggregate node and I want to move the Assign to rather be after the Aggregate - it would be a time saver to be able to click on the Assign and use some shortcut to make it move to after the Aggregate immediately rather than disconnecting it and moving it manually.

could use a control +

I reckon it's time-consuming to cut, paste and then move the node to the desired position, so some kind of accelerator would be very welcome.

Another possible implementation I can think of is right-clicking the node we want to move and then having options to place it before "Node Xpto", "Node Ypto", etc., or place it after "Node A", "Node B", etc.

Hello Nicholas,

Thank you so much for your idea.

ODC Studio team believes it will bring value to all of our community, currently, it is not on our roadmap but we will keep a close eye on it and prioritize it according to the support it gains from the Community.

If you have more ideas, please share them.

Thank you.

Hi Ricardo thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to it being implemented in the future.

Merged this idea with 'Invert elements in action' (created on 13 Jun 2023 09:53:13 by Édouard Guérin)

Currently if you want to invert position of two elements you need to disconnect one and then reassign manually connectors. The idea is really simple:

  1. Select two elements
  2. Right click
  3. Invert <= this is the new feature

Automatically, first element will be the second and the opposite for the other one. Connectors will be reaffected automatically.

We are saving multiple clicks.

Agree @Nicholas Campbell , similar enough to merge it.
